We will prepare our ingredients. Grate lemon zest and squeeze the juice out of it.
First boil the syrup. Put in a saucepan the sugar, pour the lemon juice and zest. When the sugar begins to caramelize, add the beer. Give the syrup to simmer for a bit to dissolve our caramel.
Put in the syrup pre-washed cherries. If you have the desire and time - you can remove the stones, but our family prefers cherry jam with seeds. Add spices and hot pepper whole (to the end of cooking, it was no problem to remove, otherwise present the jam will be too sharp).
Proverjaem jam for about 30 minutes. You can then safely pour a glass of brandy!
I cook the jam of medium thickness. This will take approximately 1 hour. Take out the peppers and pour into jars. From such a number of products I got 4 bottles of 0.5 liters. The most important thing is to give the jam to stand for at least a few days. And you can try.
