Biscuits with hazelnut meringue
This cookie I baked for 40 years, an old prescription from the last century. Simple, fast and delicious! Crumbly base with a butter flavor and crunchy brittle meringue with walnut crumbs.

Ingredients

  • Butter

    200 g

  • Flour

    320 g

  • Sour cream

    100 g

  • Salt

    0.25 tsp

  • Yolk egg

    2 piece

  • Egg white

    2 piece

  • Sugar

    1 cup

  • Walnuts

    1 cup

The original products. The oil is cold, sift the flour needed in the bowl, the nuts grind into fine crumbs, eggs, divided into yolks and whites.

The flour with the salt and chop together with the butter into crumbs. Combine the egg yolks with sour cream.

Blend sour cream with egg yolks added to flour crumbs and knead a soft dough.

Divide the dough into three parts, each wrap in cling film and refrigerate for 3 hours, or for a longer period. You can knead the dough in the evening and bake cookies in the morning.

Proteins whisk with sugar in a solid mass until stable peaks.

Mix the whites with chopped nuts.

Preheat the oven to 180-190 degrees. Take out from the fridge one portion of the dough, roll out to a thickness of 0.5 cm, cut out the circles, put them on a baking sheet. Grease the baking sheet is not necessary. We do the same with the other two parts of the test. Do this quickly so the butter in the dough did not have time to warm up. On each circle of dough spread 1 tsp. filling.

Send the baking sheet into the oven and bake the cookies for 20 minutes. Let cool slightly and place on a plate. Help yourself!
