Cookies
The recipe is simple but laborious. Perfect project for a rainy Sunday. The reward – a beautiful crispy cookies.

Ingredients

  • Butter

    110 g

  • Sugar

    200 g

  • Flour

    240 g

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Vanilla sugar

    1 pack

  • Leavening agent

    0.5 tsp

  • Salt

  • Dark chocolate

    50 g

  • White chocolate

    50 g

  • Almonds

    50 g

  • Coconut shavings

    30 g

  • Jam apricot

    3 Tbsp

  • Jam

    3 Tbsp

Prepare the dough: butter, egg, sugar and salt, beat until fluffy mass add flour and baking powder. The dough will be very soft. It formed from the disk and sent hour in the refrigerator.

Half of the dough (leave other half in the fridge) thin (2-3 mm) roll/roll out on a floured surface. Cut out the stars and trying not to deform the cookie, move it to the baking sheet. Already on the baking sheet, cut a hole in the center half stars. Bake in preheated oven (180*C) for 5-6 minutes.

Will do the decoration: half of stars with a hole covered with melted dark chocolate and ground midalam, the other half in melted white chocolate and unsweetened coconut flakes.

The chocolate needs time to harden.

And last step: glue the halves of the cookie. For stars with white chocolate and coconut are suitable apricot jam; for stars with dark chocolate and almond – cherry. Nicer if jams acidic, it balances the taste of the cookies.
