Beet pkhali with nuts and berry sauce
Pkhali is a Georgian cold appetizer or a side dish to meat dishes. The word "Phala" means "concoction" of different vegetables. Usually it's vegetarian and meatless dish, full of vitamins, minerals and fiber that promotes better digestion.

Ingredients

  • Beets

    300 g

  • Walnuts

    1 handful

  • Garlic

    1 tooth

  • Parsley

  • Cilantro

  • Vinegar

    1 Tbsp

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Salt

  • Khmeli-suneli

  • Berry sauce

    2 tsp

  • Peppers red hot chilli

Cooking

Gather the necessary ingredients. Beets boil or cook in the oven until cooked. Cool!

Beets grate on a fine grater. Chop the parsley and coriander. Leave a bit of greenery to feed.

Grind nuts in blender, or like me, in the bag.

In a large bowl mix ingredients. Add crushed garlic and a teaspoon of wine vinegar.

There also send berry cranberry sauce.

Season with salt, Khmeli-suneli and red pepper, mix well.
