Description

Cuban salad with grapefruit and ham
Was looking for some Cuban recipes and found on the Internet this salad. Long did not dare to cook, but curiosity prevailed. Corrected the recipe, slightly changing the amount of ingredients - I think it would be better.

Ingredients

  • Grapefruit

    0.5 piece

  • Green peas

    100 g

  • Ham

    100 g

  • Lettuce

    0.5 plug

  • Spices

  • Mayonnaise

    80 g

  • Sour cream

    80 g

  • Mustard

    1 tsp

  • Lemon juice

    1 tsp

  • Dry white wine

    1 tsp

  • Garlic

    1 tooth

  • Cucumber

    1 piece

  • Capers

Cooking

step-0
Cut the ham into small cubes.
step-1
Add the green peas.
step-2
Peel a grapefruit from the white film, cut into slices. Add the ham and peas.
step-3
Put aside a few leaves of salad for decoration.
step-4
The remaining lettuce finely chopped.
step-5
Salad to add to the other ingredients, season with salt and pepper, mix gently.
step-6
For the sauce mix the sour cream, mayonnaise and mustard, sprinkle with salt, pepper, parsley (I dried), pour white wine and lemon juice.
step-7
Finely chop gherkins and capers.
step-8
Finely chop the garlic clove.
step-9
The sauce is mixed with cucumbers, capers and garlic, lightly beat and season the salad.
step-10
At the bottom of the bowl to put lettuce, put the salad. The original recipe was offered the salad leave in a cool place for 20 minutes, but I wouldn't recommend it, as it starts to "leak".
step-11
The taste of the salad is very unusual, but interesting. Bon appetit!
