Spicy dessert soup with melon
Their participation in the project "Fights" I would like to conclude fragrant and unusual dessert. The combination of sweet juicy melon, spiced wine, biscuits and poppy seed ice cream - it is an extraordinary pleasure!

Ingredients

  • Melon

    0.5 piece

  • Dry red wine

    250 ml

  • Sugar

    195 g

  • Star anise

    1 piece

  • Cinnamon

    1 piece

  • Milk

    100 ml

  • Butter

    10 g

  • Egg white

    1 piece

  • Flour

    75 g

  • Mac

    1 Tbsp

  • Ice cream

For this great dessert brown sugar Mistral Demerara.

In a saucepan pour the wine, add the sugar, star anise and cinnamon. Bring to boil, then chill.

A melon cut in half, round spoon take out the pulp. Fold in a container and store in the refrigerator until serving.

In a bowl, mix flour and sugar, pour the milk and egg white. Add poppy seeds. Mix well.

Sheet of parchment to oil. With a spoon spread the dough on the sheet strips of width about 1 cm and about 12 cm in length. Bake in a well preheated oven for about 10 minutes.

In a deep dish, put a few balls of melon. Pour red wine. Add a scoop of ice cream and sprinkle with poppy seeds.
