Description

Stewed chicken gizzard
Prepare for a long time, but it gets the ventricles is very soft with delicious sauce.

Ingredients

  • Offal

    1 kg

  • Mushrooms

    0.5 kg

  • Onion

    2 piece

  • Carrots

    1 piece

  • Milk

    1 cup

  • Tomato paste

    150 g

  • Vegetable oil

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

  • Seasoning

  • Flour

    1 Tbsp

The products that we need (sorry, forgot to take out of the freezer and mushrooms)

Carrots grate on a coarse grater. Onion cut into half rings. Fry in butter in a frying pan onions and carrots. Add the tomato paste and fry.

The ventricles wash, clean and remove fat. Cut into strips. Add the gizzards to the vegetables, season with salt and pepper. Simmer until evaporation of water.

Add milk or cream (can be liquid sour cream) and simmer for at least an hour, better one and a half with the lid on. If necessary, you can add milk.

Add the mushrooms (I had frozen mushrooms, I have not thawed) and simmer another thirty minutes. If necessary, thicken with 1 tablespoon flour.

Very tasty podgoricka. Stomachs were poparilis, turned out nice. Gravy, generally, super.
