Potatoes Bombay
A popular dish of Indian cuisine. Unusual spicy potato, very good as a side dish, or as a separate dish.

Ingredients

  • Potatoes

    500 g

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Tomato

    3 piece

  • Garlic

    2 tooth

  • Chili

    2 piece

  • Zira

    1 tsp

  • Coriander

    1 tsp

  • Turmeric

    0.5 tsp

  • Paprika sweet

    0.5 tsp

  • Tomato paste

    1 Tbsp

  • Water

    100 ml

  • Vegetable oil

  • Cilantro

  • Salt

Potatoes thoroughly wash the brush. Boil until tender and drain in a colander.

Onion peel and cut into strips. Cut the tomatoes into thin slices. Chop the garlic and the chilli pepper cut into rings.

In a pan heat the oil and fry in it onions with cumin until Golden brown.

To the onions add the tomatoes, tomato paste and cook for another couple of minutes.

In a pan pour water, add garlic, spices and half the chilli. Season with salt to taste. Add boiled potatoes and fry everything together on high heat for 5 minutes.

Potatoes lightly crush with a fork and transfer to a ovenproof form. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes at a temperature of 180*C. When serving, sprinkle with chopped cilantro and chili pepper.
