Cooking
For the dough in warm milk dissolve sugar, salt, yeast (if dry yeast, prepare them according to the instructions on the package), add the softened butter, eggs, all mix and add flour gradually. It may need more or less. The finished dough should be soft but not stick to hands. Knead the dough for 10-15 minutes, put in a voluminous bowl, cover with cling film (make it a small hole)and leave in a warm place until the increase in 2-3 times, then obtinem and give more time to climb.
While the dough rises, prepare the filling. Rice should be boiled in salted water. I use the round figure of TM"Mistral".
Cheese to grate on a coarse grater and mix with the cooled rice.
Cut the tomatoes into small cubes. Tomatoes is better to use a firm flesh that when baked they turned into mush.
Punch down the risen dough, separate a small piece for decoration (to cover it until the film), and the rest roll out in rectangular layer thickness of about 2 mm.
Slice the dough to the middle stripes with width of about 1 cm.
Strips to braid into pigtails, and the rest of the dough to distribute the rice with cheese on top lay the tomatoes, the desire of their salt, sprinkle with pepper, dried garlic or other seasonings. Need to leave a distance between the filling and the braids of 2-3 cm.
Starting from the filling, roll the dough into a loaf.
Roll on roll to the base of the braids, put on the oiled baking sheet, and roll the loaf into a circle. I use a silicone Mat, it is grease not necessary. From a pending piece of dough to make decorations (I have asterisk)and attach to cake using a small number of eggs.
Cover cake with a towel, give a time for 20-30 minutes in a warm place, brush with egg and bake at 180 deg.30-35 minutes (focus on your oven). Ready cake cover with a towel, allow to cool until warm and serve. All a pleasant appetite! Happy new year!
