Pasta with mussels in tomato sauce

Ingredients

  • Mussels

    300 g

  • Spaghetti

    200 g

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Olive oil

  • Cherry tomatoes

    8 piece

  • Tomato juice

    0.5 cup

  • Flour

    0.5 Tbsp

  • Garlic

    2 tooth

  • Salt

  • Brown sugar

  • Seasoning

  • Semi-dry red wine

    50 ml

  • Lemon

    1 Tbsp

Here is a set of products for pasta, only olive oil I forgot to put. The mussels I got frozen, so in the evening I moved them from the freezer in the fridge, I read that the slower defrost, the more nutrients retained in the product.

On a heated olive oil fry finely chopped onion, I always add a little sugar, so it gets a wonderful Golden color and becomes aromatic.

To the sauteed onions put the mussels and chopped into slices cherry tomatoes, salt, season to taste, add the lemon juice and fry over high heat.

To make the sauce: mix half a Cup home (!) tomato juice with the flour, add sugar and salt to taste, squeeze the garlic, mix well.

Prepared the sauce, pour the mussels and fry all together for another 5 minutes until thick.

Pour in the wine, cover a little and then on slow fire.

At this time, boil the spaghetti according to the instructions. All you can bring to the table! The flavor is amazing, especially for those who didn't eat seafood the whole post!!!
