Cake (just the cake) with this recipe was published 20 years ago in the magazine "Bon appetit." The journal itself is gone, but the page is preserved. On the website I found only one recipe that I think is very similar to a recipe from a vintage magazine, but it is not the same... and my recipe is not the same, after so many years of making it, through trial and error. I am now doing not a cake, which is always not enough dough according to the recipe, and prepare a single pie. And the frosting? Glaze have the choice or no. Pie always goes on "cheers" with the compliments.

Cooking
Saved the recipe, battered by the years.
In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and honey. Do not boil. Remove from heat. In a bowl, mix the sugar and eggs. Mix well.
Add the flour, baking powder, cinnamon (to taste). Pour the cereal and melted butter with honey.
If hard raisins - soak in boiling water.
Wash the apples, cut the core, seeds (net weight of apples 430 g). Cut into medium cubes. Raisins and apples add to the liquid the dough. Mix well. Pour into mold (diameter 26 cm).
Bake at 180 degrees in the oven for 40-45 minutes Readiness check with a wooden splinter or toothpick.
