Salmon in Bulgarian
Delicious and juicy fish, stewed with vegetables in the oven. Recipe found 100 years) ago in a cooking paper. I don't know why "in Bulgarian," and what does the salmon to the Bulgarian cuisine, but in the original the name was exactly like that! I decided to try and have not regretted. Ingredients

  • Salmon

    1.5 kg

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Carrots

    2 piece

  • Pepper

    3 piece

  • Green peas

    1 can

  • Tomato paste

    2 Tbsp

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

  • Bay leaf

  • Lemon juice

  • Vegetable oil

Cut the fish into portion pieces, add salt, pepper, pour the lemon juice, leave to marinate (I used whole fish, as consumers we only have 2)

Meanwhile, cook peretarka: start with onion and carrots, fry, then add tomato paste and a bit put out all together

After put in a deep frying pan or a baking dish the fish, it peretarka, sliced bell pepper, Bay leaf

Then add green peas, pour the liquid from it (or water). I have sprinkled spices ready for fish. Put in the preheated oven for 30 minutes under the lid. Remove the cover and simmer for 10 minutes, so the liquid evaporates a little.

Spread on a plate of fish, separate the vegetables. For the side dish I made rice. (I like a double boiler.) Eat with pleasure!!
