Description
Vol-AU-vent (vol-au-vent) - air mini snack puff pastry originally from France. Translated from French - "the flight of the wind", which means the lightness and airiness of the box-base, which are stuffed with meat, fish, mushroom, and even sweet filling. Vol-AU-vents served as an aperitif before the main course, or if they are sweet - for dessert. I have a vol-AU-vents with mushrooms, vegetables and cheese!
