Pears cleaned, tails left behind. The mixture is brought to boiling, put pears, cover, diminish the fire almost to low (on my electric stove, maximum "9", I left "3"), and tormented for 20-25 minutes. Cool pears in syrup is better. To serve cold, watering syrup.
