To prepare the ginger and prunes. Prunes wash and dry on a paper towel. Then cut into small pieces. Ginger root - 2 cm average thickness to peel and finely chop.
Included to warm up the oven at 220 degrees. And prepare the dough. If You have a food processor, it is possible to put all the ingredients (butter pre-cut into small pieces) and mix. The dough is soft and feels sticky. If the combine no, you have to first grind all the dry ingredients with the butter, then add the yogurt and knead the dough. Or you can make the dough like I do. In the bowl of a blender and poured self-raising flour, pinch of salt, cane sugar. And put butter, cut into pieces. And all this for a few minutes mixed in a blender.
The mixture from the blender was transferred into a bowl, added the ginger and the prunes and cook.
Added the yogurt and finally kneaded the dough.
Put the dough on podpylennuyu regular flour surface and roll out with a rolling pin. Next two options. If you roll out a thickness of less than 2.5 cm, then we will have scones. If the thickness of 2,5 or more, then there will be scones. And here's as you like. My family prefer thinner tortillas. Once unrolled, the notch d=5 or 6 cm cut out scones.
Pellet put on a baking tray lined with baking paper. If the baking paper is not, then the pan flour (to grease the pan with oil is not necessary).
