Buns Valentina
For his first publication on the site, I chose a family recipe of buns. So prepared the dough, my great-grandmother, grandmother... To me, the recipe was passed from my dear aunt, who I called these muffins. I hope you enjoy them.

Ingredients

  • Flour

    1 кг

  • Milk

    500 мл

  • Sugar

    250 г

  • Sour cream

    3 ст. л.

  • Butter

    50 г

  • Vegetable oil

    2 ст. л.

  • Chicken egg

  • Vodka

    30 мл

  • Yeast

    2 ч. л.

  • Raisins

  • Orange zest

  • Candied

Prepare the ingredients. All products must be at room temperature.

Dissolve in a saucepan the butter.

Add milk, sour cream, vegetable oil, eggs (previously lightly beaten with a fork for the best blend). Pour in the vodka. Stir.

In a large container (I have a pan for 5 liters) sift 950 gr. flour, mix it with sugar and yeast.

Mix the dry and liquid ingredients and knead the dough. I trust this process the bread maker. After kneading, you can add in the dough zest of citrus, raisins, candied fruit. The dough should be smooth, a little sticky, but the flour added is not desirable, otherwise the scones will be heavy.

Next - proofing. The dough should double in size. I usually put the pan on the boiler.

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and start forming rolls. Palm a good sprinkle with flour, pinch off from a small piece of dough and roll it into a "sausage".

"Sausage" and tie in a knot.

The ends of the knot to secure the center of the rolls.

Rolls spread on a baking sheet, on a greased sheet of baking paper, grease with egg and put in oven. I often burn the bottom of the product, so I put on the bottom of the oven with a bowl of cold water.
