Shepherd's pie
Hearty potato casserole with meat. Products used – mustard dining room and Tatar ketchup "Maheev".

Ingredients

  • Water

    400 мл

  • Carrots

    200 г

  • Potatoes

    800 г

  • Milk

    100 мл

  • Cheese

    100 г

  • Thyme

    1/4 ч. л.

  • Mustard

    1 ч. л.

  • Corn starch

    1 ч. л.

  • Olive oil

    1 ч. л.

  • Minced meat

    400 г

  • Onion

    1 шт

  • Ketchup

    100 мл

Cooking

Heat the oil in a frying pan and quickly fry in it the minced meat to a brown color. Add water, byprivate 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add the carrot and onion and continue to cook for another 15 minutes, until the meat acquires a delicate texture.

Stir in the ketchup "Maheev" Tatar. Simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Boil the potatoes. Wring well and mash with milk, mustard "Mahe" and 2/3 of cheese. Season to taste.

Dilute starch in little water and mix into the mince to slightly thicken the mass. Season to taste. Put beef and vegetables in a heatproof dish.

On top of meat put a layer of mashed potatoes and sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake at 200°C in an electric or gas 6 oven for 15-20 minutes until the potatoes acquire a Golden color.
