Lentil stew with beef and eggplant

Ingredients

  • Lentils

  • Beef

    200 г

  • Eggplant

  • Carrots

  • The Apium graveolens Dulce

  • Onion

  • Garlic

  • Cardamom

    0,5 ч. л.

  • Paprika sweet

  • Pepper Cayenne

    1/4 ч. л.

  • Soy sauce

    3 ст. л.

  • Bay leaf

    1 шт

  • Sesame oil

    2 ст. л.

  • Salt

  • Parmesan

Cooking

Meat dry with a paper towel, cut into small cubes.

Fry in butter for 5 minutes.

Add half a Cup of water, bring to the boil and with the lid closed, simmer on low heat for 30 minutes.

Add the diced carrots and onions. Fry for another 5 minutes.

Then put in a pan the chopped celery and eggplant and simmer for 10 minutes.

Add finely chopped garlic, cardamom, paprika two species, the Cayenne pepper and warm for 2-3 minutes, then the flavor.

Add the lentils.

Then soy sauce, Bay leaf and 500 ml of water. Now need to try and salt to taste. Bring to boil, cover and simmer 1 hour. If necessary, you can add a little more water.

Let stand for 10-15 minutes. When serving you can sprinkle the dish with grated Parmesan cheese. Bon appetit!
