Cut onion into half rings and fry in olive oil.

Cut bell pepper. In a heavy-bottomed pot (or cauldron) arrange the onion and pepper.

In a hot pan fry the rice (3-4 minutes). It is believed that suitable for risotto Arborio rice or vialone nano. Tried both, and krugloozernoe Krasnodar - not much difference.

Add the rice to the vegetables. Put the saucepan on a slow fire, gradually add water. The ratio of rice:water ultimately 1:2.

Close the pan with a lid and leave for 20 minutes.

Open, add the peas, chopped green onions and dill, pepper, cheese, grated on a coarse grater. Mix everything together and leave under a cover on slow heat for another 10 minutes.
