Cooking

step-0
By studying the information of the wild rice, I read that it can be cooked as a separate dish -so nutritious and delicious. Decided to dream a little with supply - baked wild rice in the pumpkin. The rice added some vegetables and spices and the dish turned out bright and unusual.
step-1
The rice must be filled with water in the ratio 1:3 and boil for 40-45 minutes (until soft).
step-2
Wash pumpkin, cut lengthwise, remove seeds, sprinkle with oil and bake for 40-45 minutes.
step-3
After baking the pumpkin becomes soft. Now easy take out a spoon and a knife the flesh, turning the halves of the pumpkins into boats. Part of the flesh send to rice, and the rest can be used in baking, for soup or cereal.
step-4
Onions lightly fry in a small quantity of oil, add chopped garlic, stir and switch off. To rice add: onion, garlic, diced tomatoes and half a bell pepper, a bit of pumpkin pulp, salt, spices, herbs, cheese of Parmesan type. Stir.
step-5
Spread the filling of rice and vegetables in the halves of pumpkins. Pour wine, broth (I used chicken). The pumpkin can salt a little before that. Spread sprigs of thyme and the butter pieces. Close foil and bake it in the oven for about 30 minutes. For 5-10 minutes until cooked remove the foil and sprinkle Parmesan cheese.
