Stew with pearl barley and Savoy cabbage
What can you say about vegetable stew with barley? Only that it's amazingly healthful, delicious and easy to prepare dish! Perfect for lent, weekdays.

Ingredients

  • Pearl barley

  • Tomato

  • The Apium graveolens Dulce

  • Vegetable oil

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

Pearl barley TM "Mistral" pour water, leave for 8 hours, boil in salted water 25 minutes.

Onions finely chop, fry in vegetable oil until Golden brown. Carrots, celery and tomatoes cut into small pieces, add to the onions, sauté 5 minutes.

Shred cabbage, add to the vegetables, sauté 5 minutes.

From the beans to drain the fluid. Beans, along with cooked barley to add to the stew, season with salt and pepper, simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
