Cooking
For making yogurt I used a bacterial starter culture "Natural yogurt" by Orsika. It's pretty quick and easy. Take room temperature milk - 1 liter. Pour the milk with the dry yeast and mix well to obtain a homogeneous mass.
Pour into a yogurt maker-thermos OURSSON boiling water up to the mark and put in her yogurt for 10 hours to prepare. After 10 hours take out the finished yogurt and put on 2 hours in the refrigerator.
Turned out delicious, thick yogurt with a creamy taste.
Ingredients for homemade ayran.
In a measuring mug, mix well, freshly prepared natural yogurt from Orsika, ice water and sea salt (optionally, you can chop and add the fresh mint, but a more traditional version - add whole small leaves for decoration).
Drink buttermilk chilled. If you cook it at least once, you will understand that it is essential to have a refreshing cocktail, perfect for quenching thirst and mild hunger in the heat. Another advantage of buttermilk is that it goes well with any variety of food, especially spicy. Help yourself!
