Cherry pie is a pie
Great pie made of yeast dough stuffed with cherries and sweet sour cream filling. A great way to diversify fruit pies. The recipe for this dish was posted on the website in 2008 by user Kristie called "cherry pie" and is illustrated with me in the framework of "Coloring".

Ingredients

  • Flour

    250 g

  • Milk

    130 ml

  • Yeast

    0.75 tsp

  • Butter

    40 g

  • Sugar

    7 Tbsp

  • Salt

    0.75 tsp

  • Cherry

    400 g

  • Sour cream

    150 g

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Orange zest

Mix the flour, salt, sugar (2 tbsp) yeast.

Pour the warm milk and melted butter.

Knead soft, elastic dough that does not stick to hands. You may need more liquid or flour, depending on the moisture content of the flour. I had to refill the fluid.

The dough put in a deep bowl, cover with cling film and leave in a warm place for proofing for about 1.5-2 hours. The dough should increase significantly in size. And also you can knead the dough in the bread maker.

Roll the dough on the table sprinkled with flour, to fine - around 0.5-0.7 cm thick. To put a layer on the oiled baking sheet. I used a baking dish with a size of 30x20 cm along the edges to make a small bumpers.

Sprinkle cherries. I had frozen cherries that I pre-thawed. And it is better to use fresh berries (any). Sprinkle with sugar. Oven heated to 180-200 degrees, put cherry pie for 20 minutes.

While baking cake, make the filling. Mix sour cream, sugar (I pointed out the number that I used, you adjust according to your taste), egg and zest (if desired).

After 20 minutes remove the cake, pour sour cream filling and again send in the oven for 25-30 minutes.

Pie should be well grilled and brown. Cool cake, cut into slices and serve. Bon appetit!
