Cream cheese and caramel cookies
Delicate puff caramel cookies will not leave you indifferent! Something similar was preparing my grandmother, but this adapted to more modern products. The recipe is adapted from "Home Baking: Sweet and Savory Traditions Around the World"

Ingredients

  • Butter

    220 g

  • Cream cheese

    220 g

  • Salt

  • Vanilla

    1 tsp

  • Yolk egg

    1 piece

  • Flour

    2 cup

  • Egg white

    1 piece

  • Brown sugar

    0.5 cup

Cooking

In the mixer bowl put the butter and cream cheese, all at room temperature. Begin mixing on medium speed.

After you add the egg yolk, sifted flour, vanilla and a pinch of salt.

Get a soft and sticky dough. In a floured bowl, put the dough, cover with cling film and put in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, maximum 2 days.

After an hour take the dough. Spread on a well-floured surface and roll out into a rectangle of thickness 0.5 cm.

Fold it 4 times. Roll out again, repeat everything at least 3-5 times. Sent it back into the fridge for 30 minutes.

After half an hour take out the dough and roll out its thickness of 0.5 ml. Can be simply cut into large squares, you can use cookie cutters. I have hearts in honor of Valentine's Day :) Just send the cookies in the fridge for 10 min.

Warm up the oven to 180 C. cover a Baking tray with baking paper. Protein shake in lightweight foam.

Grease cookies white and sprinkle with brown sugar. Sugar MISTRAL small gave the liver a great caramel flavor!

Bake in preheated oven for 18-20 minutes. Let it cool down completely by the liver. Tender, tasty, melting in your mouth! Try it, you will not regret!
