Old Russian pies with chicken
Old Russian pies with chicken and onions. Served with chicken broth.

Ingredients

  • Yeast dough

    1 kg

  • Chicken breast

    2 piece

  • Onion

    2 piece

  • Celery root

    1 piece

  • Carrots

    1 piece

  • Butter

  • Salt

  • Greens

  • Sesame

  • Vegetable oil

  • Chicken egg

Chicken Breasts, peeled carrots (whole), chopped into halves onion (1 piece) and celery put in pan, cover with water, add salt and cook until tender.

The remaining onion cut into half rings and fry until Golden brown.

Ready the chicken and carrots to pull, cool. Strain the broth.

The cooled carrots to grate on a coarse grater.

Ready pies spread on a parchment lined baking sheet. Send for proofing in the oven on the lowest temperature or just warm.

Rassloennye products grease egg, sprinkle with sesame seeds. Put a piece of butter over each of the holes. Bake in a preheated 180-200 degree oven until Browning. During baking in holes, pour a little broth into each pie.
