This appetizer is somewhat reminiscent of the well-known herring under a fur coat, but still it is different, and portion feed makes it very attractive. We liked it. Preparing is easy, and looks very elegant. All are invited to the tasting. The idea of the recipe thank you Violet.

Cooking
This snack is best made the night before and then just take out of the fridge and surprise guests. Beets, you need to either bake or boil until tender. Clean. Herring, onion, cucumber, Apple, fennel and beetroot cut into small pieces, folded in a bowl, add the corn and stir. Gelatin cover with cold water. Sour cream combine with yogurt, a little salt and pepper.
Then sour cream mixture needs to be warmed up in the micro and add gelatin. Stir thoroughly. Sprinkle the vegetables with herring and stir again.
I decided to serve this appetizer two ways: using silicone molds for muffins and small cups. They need to fill and put into the refrigerator until fully cured (I have they stood the night).
Before serving, decorate with dill. That's how the starter looks in glasses...
As well in silicone molds, goes without problems.
