Potatoes in milk
Simple, unpretentious recipe. Does not require time-consuming. Very satisfying, tasty and healthy. Familiar with the potatoes from my childhood. My grandmother often prepared. Much time has passed. I can improve it. Cook often for my family. This dish is a lifesaver.

Ingredients

  • Potatoes

    5 piece

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Butter

    15 g

  • Vegetable oil

    1 tsp

  • Garlic

    1 tooth

  • Milk

    200 ml

Peel the onion

Cut into small cubes

Butter, softened

To cook this dish, preferably in a pan with a thick bottom. Melt the butter in a saucepan.

In melted butter, lay the sliced onions. When the onions are soaked with oil, add the vegetable oil and cook until transparent and slightly pale pink. Approximately 3-4 minutes.

Then add chopped garlic. Mix well. Simmer for 2 minutes.

Peel the potatoes. Wash. Dry. Cut into slices. As you like.

I like to cut potatoes. Nicer and juicier it turns out.

Put in the skillet in one even layer.

In milk dissolve the salt.

Pour the milk in the potatoes.

Cover with a lid. Bring to a boil. Reduce the heat. Simmer until cooked potatoes. Disable.
