The side dish of beets from James Oliver
This salad is something I picked up from James Oliver, he prepared it with the meat. This idea I liked, we now to the meat often beets or carrots in this recipe instead of eating the garnish.

Ingredients

  • Beets

    300 g

  • Sunflower oil

    1 Tbsp

  • Vinegar

    1 Tbsp

  • Salt

  • Allspice

  • Marjoram

Cooking

Beets choose a very small and carefully sponge washed. Cut off the stems. Wrap in foil and in the oven for 30 min.

After 30 min. take out, check for readiness.

If beets are very small, the skin can be left. Cut the beets in cubes.

But you can clean if you bother with the skin.

Salt, pepper, add the sunflower oil (olive), oregano and balsamic vinegar.

Well, that's all. To a large piece of meat with the perfect garnish. I'm having dinner (pictured bread with cheese and garlic baked in foil).
