Description
Bright geleite jam is moderately sweet, sour and slightly tart notes. Well suited for decorating desserts, cereals and pancakes and as a sauce for meat and vegetable dishes.

Cooking
Clean berries, fresh or frozen, add to the pot and cover with water.
Slowly heat and let gently simmer for 15 minutes. Remove from heat and add sugar.
From time to time stirring occasionally until the sugar is dissolved.
Remove the foam and pour the jam, still hot, into clean jars. If you are using jars with screw lids, flip them upside down. In the process of cooling the cover as if drawn inside and a tightly sealed jar.
Store this jam in the fridge. It held up fine for 4 months and then gradually begins to darken and lose its flavor.
