Plum jam with rum raisins
This jam we have just hit this summer! Very fragrant, with a hint of rum. Suit and oladushki-just pancakes and tea - kids was eating for both cheeks! If You are confused by the presence of Roma in the cooking process the alcohol evaporates completely.

Ingredients

  • Raisins

    300 g

  • Drain

    2 kg

  • Rum

    70 ml

  • Brown sugar

    1.5 kg

Wash the raisins and pour rum.

Plum cut in half, remove seeds.

To fill the plums with sugar and let stand for 1 hour. For this jam I took brown sugar TM Mistral. He has an excellent caramel flavor and aroma.

Cook on low heat for about an hour until the syrup thickens. After 30 minutes of boiling, add the raisins together with rum, in which it was soaked.
