Fried bananas
As I promised Luba Pochemuchka and Marisha MariiishaF show recipe for fried bananas, which brought our traveller to Cuba. Before, I honestly thought to fry bananas is a little odd... In fact it turned out that it is very tasty, quite original, but at the same time, very simple, quick to prepare and affordable dessert!

Ingredients

  • Banana

    2 piece

  • Butter

    3 Tbsp

  • Brown sugar

    3 Tbsp

  • Vodka

    20 ml

  • Powdered sugar

  • Mint

Bananas peel them. Cut in half crosswise and in half again, but lengthwise. If the mini-bananas, cut in half lengthwise immediately.

The pan is heated, melt in it the butter. Add to the pan the brown sugar, stir with a wooden spatula, bring to a boil.

This boiling caramel put the bananas and fry on both sides until Golden brown over medium heat.

Then reduce the fire, directly in the pan, the bananas evenly pour the vodka, cover and simmer for 3-5 minutes.

Then, immediately put the bananas on plates. In a frying pan, do not leave, otherwise the caramel hardens, bananas will stick and they will be difficult to shift without damaging. On top of the bananas, sprinkle with powdered sugar (through a strainer), decorate with mint.
