Description
Start with the fact that my father is Georgian, and even former chef =) And since I can remember, always loved chakhokhbili, which was prepared at home. Imagine my surprise when I found the site a lot of recipes of this dish, but all without eggs!! (there are a couple of eggs, but there is not). So I think... dad is that it has succumbed to imagination?))) I have to say that Oochen delicious! =)) Plus, bonus will describe the preparation of PP variant (proper nutrition). Cooks very quickly and Negroponte, this is my wand, all the holidays and unexpected guests we Chakhokhbili =) PS I do Not claim to authenticity ;)

Cooking
Take a roaster (a baking dish, a pan with a thick bottom, cauldron, slow cooker) - I have a slow cooker (put right mode stewing, the meat is automatically set to 1 hour). Pour oil, cut onions and saute it a bit then add the meat. For PP: Pour some water, add the meat and stew without oil (onions are optional), the remaining steps are the same.
Meanwhile, grind the tomatoes (in any convenient way: finely chop, grate, grind in a blender). The skin is also left to your discretion, it would be good to remove it, but I always forget))) don't forget to stir the chicken! It does not matter if there is no tomatoes: the food is still tasty, even if you pour a jar of homemade tomato sauce, adjika, or just pour water to cover the meat and add a couple of tablespoons of tomato paste.
Add the tomatoes to the chicken, and Basil (if not fresh, can dried - 1-2 teaspoons), salt, sugar, pepper and Khmeli suneli. Mix well, close the lid and simmer until the meat is cooked (about 30 minutes).
Grind garlic (grater, press, finely chop) and add to the chicken, stir.
After 5 minutes, take 2 eggs, beat, add. Mix well. Our sauce starts to thicken. Since childhood, I love to watch this step =)
After 5 minutes switch off the stove/slow cooker, add chopped coriander, close the lid and leave to soak in the flavor for another 5 minutes. Many of my friends didn't like cilantro, said that "bugs" smells. After chakhokhbili began to love =))) Honestly, never taste instead of cilantro, add the parsley might also be good... I sooooo love cilantro, so only it and more!))
To chakhokhbili we always had fresh pita bread, which we loved to dip in the sauce is very tasty! Also, you can prepare the side dish - my husband loves to top with sauce, boiled potatoes, and I Fig. Help yourself, dear cooks! Bon appetit!
