Caramel-nut strips
Sand strips, covered with caramel on top of the condensed milk with nuts. Sweet, very good with black coffee without sugar. To cook quickly and easily.

Ingredients

  • Flour

    250 g

  • Sugar

    250 g

  • Butter

    280 g

  • Soda

    1 tsp

  • Cognac

    1 Tbsp

  • Milk

    1 can

  • Walnuts

    0.5 cup

To prepare the dough, mix the butter, sugar, flour, brandy, baking soda, throw a pinch of salt and knead dough.

Spread it evenly in the form, pinned a match and bake at 180 deg. 20 – 25 minutes. Cool.

To prepare the filling, mix the butter, sugar and condensed milk in an aluminum (or other non-stick) saucepan, heated on a slow fire, stir all the time, after a few minutes the sugar has dissolved.

Bring to a boil, add broken nuts and cook five minutes on low heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, leave for a few minutes.

In the form in which it was baked the cake, spread plastic wrap, put it on baked cooled cookie. Pour the caramel layer and put in the fridge for an hour and a half.

Then stored at room temperature. I stood no more than an hour, after which it is pulled, so to photo the caramel layer is slightly leaking. However, taste is not spoiled. Bon appetit and good mood!
