Chicken soup with pate
Vegetable soup with delicate chicken liver pate (recipe found in the book "cooking A to z" 1992 ). My children associate chicken soup with dumplings or noodles, but the pate was a great alternative.

Ingredients

  • Chicken

    1 piece

  • Carrots

    2 piece

  • Onion

    2 piece

  • Peas

    0.5 cup

  • Cauliflower

    20 g

  • Potatoes

    1 piece

  • Bread

    2 slice

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Sour cream

    2 Tbsp

  • Butter

  • Potato starch

    1.5 Tbsp

  • Milk

Rinse and cut the chicken. Pour the water once it boils to drain, rinse , and then pour water and put to boil. Until the broth begins to boil dry on a dry pan, 1 onion(chopped) and 1 carrot(on a large grater). Then add the vegetables to the chicken. Salt. Once the meat is ready take out of it , and the broth is filtered.

Will stavim strained broth on the stove and added as soon as available морковь1 (circles, cubes...), potatoes (if you want, but not necessarily), cauliflower (it was freezing), green peas (fresh and frozen was not added, canned). Taste for salt and bring to readiness.

While cooking the soup, prepare the pate: meat separated from the bones, them, add soaked in milk bread, diced and fried onions, sour cream, beaten egg, starch, salt and spices (very well nutmeg)All right mix up.

Grease the form , put the pâté on top and grate (do ) the pieces of butter. Bake in the oven 20-25 minutes.

Now pour the soup in plates and add the cubes of pate. Bon appetit. :-)

P. S. in the Evening left little cubes of pate... he's so delicious. The kids ate the sandwiches and asked for more. It can as a separate dish: bread, butter and a slice of pate. Help yourself to health :-)
