Don't like autumn. But invariably pleasant associations I have with the word "rain& quot;. Why? Imagine anybody in the house, outside the window rustling rain, and you with a good book under a warm blanket in your favorite chair... And there, on the table, hot tea and a delicious cake filled with sweet poppy seeds, sour apples, raisins soaked in brandy and crunchy nuts... Pleasure you can get from the most boring things. Most importantly - good company. Isn't that right, Sarah?))

On the street the rain, the mood through the floor, out the window and do not want to watch, so we go to the kitchen and do culinaerie. Going to cook a pie. Let's start with steaming Mac. Boil the milk and pour the Mac is not less than 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, the dough has doubled in size. Get, add eggs, sugar, butter room temperature, knead it for 5-7 minutes. The dough will be sticky, but don't flood it with flour, better after rising knead it on the table, adding a little flour. It is possible to produce a batch in the bread maker. Cover the bowl with the dough with a cloth and put in a warm place for an hour. Dough volume should increase during this time in half.

It was the turn of the filling. Nuts can be ground in a package using a rolling pin. Add the nuts and dried apricots to the poppy mix.
