Cake
This is my first big work with fondant. A gift for my father-in-law. Very delicious and beautiful cake.

Ingredients

  • Sugar

    1 cup

  • Flour

    1 cup

  • Chicken egg

    5 piece

  • Cocoa powder

    2 Tbsp

  • Condensed milk

    1.5 can

  • Butter

    250 g

  • Banana

    2 piece

  • Kiwi

    2 piece

  • The sugar syrup

  • Marshmallows

  • Powdered sugar

Prepare the dough for sponge cake. Divide the dough into 2 parts. The white part should be more in the second part add cocoa and mix well. Bake two biscuit. Better this cake to do in two days. Allow the biscuits to cool.

Cut the biscuits into 2 parts along. And formed into the desired shape for the cake.

Prepare the cream: whip the butter, then, still whisking, pour in the condensed milk. Cut the fruits. Now you are ready to assemble the cake. First, take the white biscuit. Soak the apricot syrup, then put the cream and well-leveled. On top of the cream put the fruit as you like.

Then take the sponge cake with cocoa, syrup-soaked, and all repeat. Then - white biscuit. And the top of the cake made of sponge cake, cut into pieces and mixed with cream. Well miss the whole cake with cream. Then put the cake in the fridge overnight.

Prepare the fondant for covering the cake of chewing marshmallow. Take 200 g of chewing marshmallow, and about 400 g icing sugar (sifted), 2 tablespoons of boiled water and food dye. Put marshmallows in a plate, pour over 2 tablespoons of water, which has diluted the dye of the desired color. Microwave on high for fifteen minutes.

Remove from microwave and begin to stir the mixture with a spoon, gradually adding the sifted icing sugar. When a spoon will interfere with the hard, sprinkle powdered sugar on the table and continue to knead the fondant on the table.

Knead until then, until it becomes a smooth, elastic consistency. But ensure that the mastic does not become too hard, otherwise it will crack on the finished product.

That's all, mastic is ready. Then roll it into the reservoir 2 times the size of your cake.

Carefully, using the rolling pin, transfer the fondant to the cake and make a pouch. After you shaped the bag to the cake, decorate it with chocolates, dried apricots and pomegranate. And make the same mastic rope.
