Cheese soup with leeks
Leek contains protein, carbohydrates, vitamins (C, b, PP, carotene), potassium, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus and iron, essential oils and phytoncides. Leeks increases appetite, improves digestion, activity of the gallbladder and liver. Due to the content of potassium has a diuretic effect, useful for obesity, rheumatism, gout. Leek is a national symbol of Wales.
