Description
In one of the shows, Jamie Oliver visited Switzerland and talked about the national dish, a thick soup with barley cereal. The soup is simple but delicious, hearty, healthy and does not require long standing at the stove. Our family love barley, so I cooked the soup on the motives of the Swiss. The ingredients I have others, but the principle is the same. The soup was very rich, thick, delicious. Try it, I bet you will like it.

Cooking
Cut the vegetables into dice.
In a saucepan, heat the oil and fry the vegetables all at once.
Add the washed pearl barley, stir.
Add the washed lentils, stir, pour 1 liter of boiling water.
Add to the pot with the vegetables, season with salt and pepper, bring to boil, reduce the heat and simmer until cooked barley. It took me 25 minutes.
10 minutes before end of cooking add the Bay leaf and squeeze a slice of lemon, I did.
That's all thick and rich the soup is ready. Bon appetit.
