Tomato soup with chickpeas
Delicious, easy, slightly spicy soup! Cooked very quickly, if the chickpeas to boil in advance or use canned, as I have. If your kids love tomato soups, and this they will appreciate.

Ingredients

  • Chickpeas

    350 g

  • Pepper

    1 piece

  • Garlic

    2 tooth

  • Coriander

    0.5 tsp

  • Broth

    700 ml

  • Tomatoes in own juice

    400 g

  • Black pepper

    1 pinch

  • Salt

    1 pinch

  • Vegetable oil

    2 Tbsp

Cooking

Finely chop the garlic, mix with salt (I large), pepper, coriander. Well pound all in a mortar.

Pepper wash and cut into cubes. Fry in vegetable oil until tender, about 7 minutes.

Add spice mixture and fry for 1 more minute.

Add the cooked (or canned) chickpeas.

Tomatoes in own juice, sugar (will allow to reduce slightly acid), broth, bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes.

Cool slightly and blend in a blender.
