Drink of the currant
To cheer myself up, I made this simple, healthy and tasty drink. The recipe I took from the book "Traditional Russian cuisine". In Russia, the drinks had taken hold in glaciers or cellars which were filled in summer with ice to maintain low temperature. Wealthy owners of these "refrigerators" could be several. Drink of the currant is prepared very simply, furthermore, it is very healthy and tasty. You can eat both hot and cold.

Ingredients

  • Water

    1.5 l

  • Black currants

    500 g

  • Lemon

    0.5 piece

  • Dried apricots

    100 g

Cooking

Pour the currants with water, bring to a boil and cook for 30 minutes.

Separate the broth from the berries.

In the resulting broth squeeze the juice from half of a lemon.

When serving the drink, add the apricots.
