Description

Creamy shrimp jelly
Unusual, delicious and very gourmet cold appetizer of cream and shrimp. The recipe for this dish was posted on the website in the 2009 user LORIKA777 called "Shrimp ring" and is illustrated with me in the framework of "Coloring". I don't know why, but this dish instantly made me the Christmas mood! I immediately wanted to decorate the tree and to revise something winter-holiday of the Soviet cinema, for example, "Magicians". This and inspired the title.

Cooking

step-0
Boil shrimp in salted water. In this case, they are huge, but it will fit and any other size.
step-1
Cool the shrimps, we peel them. If shrimp are large, then cut into small pieces. Small can be left whole. Fill with chopped dill and cream.
step-2
Salt, pepper, mix thoroughly, cover with foil and leave in the fridge for hours to overnight (or 10 hours).
step-3
After this time we begin to prepare gelatin: leave it to swell in cold water, after which excess water is drained and add lemon juice.
step-4
Put to heat on the stove on low heat and remove as soon as the gelatin is completely dissolved (to boil not to bring!). Let cool a bit.
step-5
Cream temporarily take out with a slotted spoon shrimp...
step-6
... and pour the gelatin to the cream, a little whisk.
step-7
Return the cream to the prawns and mix thoroughly. The mass immediately begins to thicken.
step-8
Spread the resulting mass in molds (I advise you to smoosh it down, turning the ramekins). Cover with film and refrigerate for 2-3 hours.
step-9
Remove the ramekins from the refrigerator, immerse them for a few seconds in hot water (you can additionally hold the inner circle with a sharp knife).
step-10
Turn the mold on a saucer and take out the jelly.
step-11
Decorate the top with herbs and caviar. The eggs in this case — not just a decoration, its taste perfectly complements this dish.
