Chocolate pear jam
It's not just jam, and some chocolate dessert or treat. I like the Amateur experiments like this jam very much, it is very tasty to eat ice cream or cake, and in the winter I would love to eat a pie with such stuffing. But my husband, a lover of classical jam, not appreciated. On taste and color, as is known, no friend, but this recipe is certainly worthy of attention.

Ingredients

  • Lemon juice

  • Pear

    680 g

  • Sugar

    550 ml

  • Chocolate milk

    115 g

Start with what you put in the freezer a small platter. We will use it later to determine the readiness of the jam. Peel pears from the skin and the core. I from the rind not cleaned, just picked up a smaller pear. Cut into small pieces. I propustila through the large grater of a food processor. Mix with lemon juice in the container in which you cook the jam.

Add the sugar and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 20 to 30 minutes, stirring from time to time.

After 20 minutes, remove from the freezer the saucer will drop a little syrup. Wait a few seconds and check for leaks in it. If flowing, and you want to get more of a thick jam, then cook for some more time, and then repeat this test.

In the finished jam, add the chocolate. Bring to a boil and turn off the heat.

Pour in sterilized jars, roll up covers. Closed banks sterilize in boiling water for 12 minutes. Bon appetit!
