Very interesting and unusual turns jam from the whole fruit feijoa. It is insanely delicious and flavorful. Do every fall, but by January it is already there )))

Cooking
Feijoa fruit peel is not throwing away the peel (it we then come in handy). To the fruit is not darkened, they are placed for some time in a container of cold water.
If the fruit with the skin or too harsh; pierce them with a sharp fork.
In a saucepan fill with sugar, add a tablespoon of water and put it on the stove top, diminished to a minimum fire. Constantly stirring the contents so it's not burning, obtained from sugar caramel mass.
Remove the pan from the obtained caramel, carefully add in the boiling water. In the resulting sugar syrup put the orange peel and bring to the boil, then cook for about 7 minutes. This sugar then filter the broth through a sieve or cheesecloth.
Now add in the syrup bulk feijoa fruit and cook them for 40 minutes, stirring occasionally, over medium heat. Brandy in jam add about one minute until cooked.
When the jam has cooled, put it in sterile jars and turning upside down, wrap it up with a warm blanket. A day take out in the cold. One jar I didn't mess with some tea and delicious autumn! ))
