Shortbread cookies
Delicate, crumbly cookies on the flour of whole grain cereal. A distinctive feature of the test is that when baked it retains its shape, only slightly raised, which makes products for air and even. Cookies can be cut with a knife, special roller, molds. I used a very easy to use and creates a beautiful ornament wood corrugated rolling pin, given to me by my friend from Germany Larisochka Kleine Hase. Each rolling pin is made by the hands of craftsmen who are professionally engaged in wood carving.

Ingredients

  • Butter

    100 g

  • Sugar

    100 g

  • Water

    60 g

  • Salt

    0.5 tsp

  • Leavening agent

    0.25 pack

  • Oat flakes

    300 g

Cooking

In a small saucepan, combine butter, sugar, water and salt.

On medium heat bring to a boil and immediately remove from heat. Let the mixture cool to room temperature.

Grind in a food processor or blender oat flakes wholegrain TM Mistral.

In a bowl sift the flour together with the baking powder.

Add the flour to the cooled oil mixture.

Knead thoroughly until smooth. Should get a dense buttery dough.

Wrap the dough in cling film and put in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours at night.

Divide the dough into 4 parts. One part to write for rolling, the rest go in the fridge.

Podpisov lightly with flour, roll out the dough to a thickness of 2-3 mm. Cut out cookies are a convenient way for you. Since I have the rolling pin with a pattern for the cookies, I first roll the dough with a thickness of 6 millimeters.

Cut the dough with a roller on the lines, to pass on to sheet covered with baking paper and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Bake in a preheated 180 degree oven for 15 minutes until light Browning. That cookie was tender and crumbly, better not to bring them before too rosy state.
