Jam from viburnum
We continue to enrich our bodies the body, luckily there are very popular and, importantly, inexpensive local Yagoda - Kalina, which can be prepared within a couple of hours a great jelly. The taste will appeal to all "opposers" of viburnum. The recipe comes from the world wide web, and today cooked by me.

  • Kalina

    1 kg

  • Sugar

    1 kg

  • Water

    2 cup

1. Preparation of the berries. Berries need a little bit of freezing to reduce the loss of juice during tearing from the branches, sort and rinse.

2. The blanching. To remove the bitterness and soften the peel, the berries should be dipped in boiling water for 5-6 minutes.

3. Ready berries wipe through a sieve.

4. In a mortar add sugar and water.

5. Jelly cook on slow heat for 50 minutes. Readiness check - a drop of jelly, which should not be spread.

6. Pour the jelly into the prepared jars. Store in a cool place.
