Description
This popular Italian salad of vegetables and bread, which is served usually in summer. Salad takes stale bread. A bit of history... This salad was born in the kitchen of poor Italian peasants. Usually in rural houses, bread was baked once a week, and stale bread had to be disposed of somehow. With the coming heat this salad was for peasants the main meal. To chew it, much effort is not necessary, so it was called "an old man's food." There are several options to serve this salad on the site. My version is somewhat different in ingredients and method of preparation.

All the vegetables finely chop.
Add to the bread crumbs, stir and put in the fridge to infuse for 1-2 hours.
