Cooking
First, you need easy to cook liquid sugar syrup: 1 Cup sugar (Cup 250 ml) is dissolved in 180 ml of water, bring to a boil. Cook over low heat for 5 minutes, add 4-5 drops of lemon juice and 1 g vanillin. The syrup to cool, we need it very cold. Let us further test: on medium heat bring to boil 100 ml of water and 35 grams of butter. Add the flour and quick movements stir the mixture with a wooden spoon. It is necessary that all the flour is dispersed and no lumps. As soon as the dough begins to lag behind the walls - put it to cool in another bowl.
Once the mixture has cooled - add the salt at the tip of the knife (quite a bit), 1 g of vanilla, 2 eggs, and knead thoroughly.
The batter should be smooth, without lumps. Prepare the fryer. Warm up over medium heat vegetable oil (about 1 cm from the bottom).
Fill dough pastry bag. I took this attachment. If there is the same, but wider will be even better!
Using a pastry bag to shape these are "dates" (approximately 5 cm in length) directly in the fryer.
Fry "dates" until Golden brown on both sides.
As soon as roasted the portion is spread our candy on a paper napkin, we need to the excess oil is gone (3 minutes).
Meanwhile, our cold syrup is ready, put drained hot "dates" in the cold syrup and leave for 5 minutes. You want the candy was completely covered with syrup. While the saturated sweetness Sunny sugar syrup, we are preparing the next batch of "dates" in the same way. I came up with 30 things.
Balah El-sham served immediately after cooking, or cold. I prefer the cold.
This delicious Oriental sweet like a sweet tooth, and not only! Sometimes you can treat yourself and your loved ones!
