Bulgarian dish
Looking on the website all Bulgarian dishes, never found one that we are preparing. Decided to start to acquaint You, my favourite COOKS from my native BULGARIA!!! We, as pure-blooded Bulgarians, often preparing this dish, and cooked it always dad, mom, of course, also sometimes cooked, but dad better, however, as all the men. So I decided to learn how to cook this dish, a clear under dad's control, as in childhood, when Papa taught something to me!!! Cabbage stewed with rice on the meat and fat sounds... don't know how, but the taste is INCOMPARABLE!!!

Ingredients

  • Pork

    1.5 kg

  • Cabbage

    1 plug

  • Figure

    1 cup

  • Tomato paste

    150 g

  • Bay leaf

    5 piece

  • Spices

Cooking

Meat cut into large pieces, fat also cut. Rascalities cauldron and pour the meat, season with salt and pepper, throw a Bay leaf and fry until the fat starts to melt. Then diminish the fire and fry the meat until almost cooked.

Cabbage shinkuem, not thin, thick, short slices.

Then put onion, roughly chopped. Stir and simmer on low heat for about 15 minutes.

Rice wash thoroughly and add to the cabbage.

Then put the tomato sauce, mix thoroughly.

Fill with water, so that slightly covers all. Simmer until the rice is tender.
