Juicy and delicious citrus cake with curd cream, because of its structure looks a bit like a casserole. The recipe for this dish was posted on the website in 2008 by user Fialka called "Cake "Mandarin" and is illustrated with me in the framework of "Coloring".

Give him a good wash and cut into small pieces, take out all the bones, grind them. 100g softened butter, beat, add sugar, cheese (if you want a more delicate structure of the cream, the cottage cheese to wipe through a sieve) and crushed lemon, give everything a good whisk.
From Mandarin, which removed the zest, squeeze the juice, add to it the syrup of canned mandarins, it will be the impregnation. Optionally, you can add white wine or citrus liqueur.
If the cake one, then cut it into 2 parts, the cake turns out very crumbly, so be very careful, it can easily go wrong. I have cut separately the top convex of the cap, I need it was for decoration.
Take the first cake layer, pour its impregnation, spread half of the cream, level, on top of the cream arrange half of the canned Mandarin slices. On top put the second cake, impregnate and grease remnants of cream on the top and sides of cake. Decorate as desired with slices of tangerine and lemon. You can eat immediately, but you can put it in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.
I for decoration specially cut the top, cut it from the palette. Remaining canned Mandarin slices decorate the sides of cake.
