Description
While grandma baked pies, and grandparents entertained the children (or the children of the grandparents), I prepared a lunch of meatballs from canned fish, rice, and millet. I made these meatballs before either millet or rice. But today could not choose cereal and decided to use both. And now the only way I cook this dish! Cakes ate it all, even my two year old baby. Very gentle, soft and very fragrant. And most importantly - no bones (what many fear in the fish cutlets).

Cooking
For making these meatballs, I took out the Golden millet and rice from the Orient "Mistral". Canned fish - saury in oil. On the jar it was stated 210g
Rice and millet boil. To do this in a saucepan, pour 2 cups of water, bring to a boil, add salt. Pour the grits into the boiling water. Cook the rice along with millet is almost ready.
Lay the fish in a bowl together with the liquid. I usually remove the Central bone in the fish, to the meatballs did not come across hard pieces.
Fish need a good crush with a fork. Should be soft fish "mush".
Finely chop the onion. Carrot RUB on a small grater. Vegetables I always add fresh (we love) - and then burgers, I think, more flavorful. But, of course, onions and carrots lightly fry.
Added to fish, egg, sliced onions and grated carrots. Mix well.
By this time, the porridge of rice and millet is ready. It should not be liquid. If there is water it must be evaporated.
Mix all together until smooth. "Batter" for fish cutlets are ready.
Formed patties and dip them them in breadcrumbs.
Heat the pan with sunflower oil and spread on her chops. Fry until Golden brown.
Cakes spread on a plate. At this stage, a few chops from my plate "has to try". So to say exactly what happened, it's hard... About 16-18 pieces.
Burgers are almost ready. They're ready to eat. But I usually lightly steamed so that they become juicier and softer. To do this, put the meatballs into shape, add boiling water about a Cup, lay pieces of butter. And place into a preheated oven at 220C for 5-7 minutes.
We love fish cakes and cheese. For this cheese, I rubbed on a fine grater.
Take out the patties from the oven, sprinkle with cheese and call family to the table! You can also sprinkle with chopped greens. I did, because the youngest member of the family does not perceive the greens as something to eat... Everything! Fish cutlets are ready.
